To help a large client comply with state regulations, a staffing firm collected fingerprints from applicants utilizing print cards and “wet ink” fingerprinting.  The firm was plagued with high fingerprint rejection rates and very long turnaround times. What’s more, the entire experience was less than desirable for the client’s potential employees.

The proprietary HANK fingerprinting system, provided exclusively by Truescreen's sister company, Fieldprint®, completely revamped the staffing firm’s fingerprint program. Fieldprint® now handles the entire process: scheduling applicants at conveniently located livescan facilities; collecting fingerprints; transmitting them to the appropriate fingerprint channeling agency; and tracking the process every step of the way. Fieldprint® also stores the fingerprints in case the firm ever needs to submit them again.

Result
Fieldprint® achieved dramatic improvements in the staffing firm’s rejection rate and decreased turnaround time to hours for “clears” and days for “hits.” With fingerprints being collected by Fieldprint® professionals, not firm employees or the local police, the applicant’s experience is vastly improved and the staffing firm saves staff time by not having to train and deploy personnel for the task.
