"Free Credit Reports Available to All U.S. Consumers"
The Federal Trade Commission announced starting September 1, 2005, consumers in 14 East Coast states join the rest of the country in qualifying for a free annual credit report from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting companies--Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion--as required under The Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (FACTA). Credit reports can be accessed online at www.annualcreditreport.com.

"Methamphetamine Use Continues to Grow Among Workers"
A recent article in USA Today highlights the rapid growth in methamphetamines use among workers. Methamphetamine is a stimulant that has been tried by more than 12 million Americans, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. The number of positive drug tests for amphetamines grew by 6% last year, after a jump of more than 44% in 2003. Methamphetamine is reportedly the most common type of amphetamine abused.
